Free Biweekly Timesheet Template (Excel and PDF)
If you pay every two weeks, a biweekly timesheet keeps the paperwork aligned with the paycheck. This one tracks two full week blocks with daily hours, per-week totals, a period total, and the overtime trap handled correctly, which most biweekly templates get wrong.

01
The biweekly overtime trap
Federal overtime computes per workweek, not per pay period. An 88-hour period made of a 50-hour week and a 38-hour week contains 10 hours of overtime, even though 88 is less than two 44s. A template that splits OT from the period total instead of per week underpays week one, and that's an underpayment. Underpayments turn into wage claims. This template runs the split inside each week block, then sums the period, so the math follows the weekly rule automatically.
02
How to use it
- Set the period start date in the header cell; both week blocks label themselves from it.
- Fill days exactly like the weekly template: in, out, break minutes, optional job.
- Read per-week regular and overtime from each block, and the period totals at the bottom.
- Anchor the start date to your actual pay period, not the calendar week, or week two of one sheet will overlap week one of the next.

When a spreadsheet stops working
Biweekly periods double the collection problem: two weeks of memory in one sheet means Friday-written Tuesdays, and the person doing payroll inherits a stack of them at once. Clox collects punches the moment they happen, splits overtime per week automatically, and exports the approved period straight into your payroll format. The pricing math stays one line at any pay frequency.
