Is there a free plan?
No permanent free tier — every account starts on a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. You won't be charged unless you choose a plan when the trial ends.
How does seat pricing work?
You pay for every employee you have on Clox. The owner counts as a seat too. If you add or remove employees mid-month, your next invoice is prorated automatically.
What's included in monthly vs annual?
Exact same features. Annual is just billed once a year and works out to $4/seat/month — 20% off the monthly rate.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the Stripe customer portal in your settings. Monthly subscriptions end at the end of the current billing period. Annual subscriptions get a prorated refund.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits or seasonal businesses?
Email support@getclox.com — we'll figure it out. We're a small team and we'd rather work with you than lose you over price.
Can my employees see each other's pay rates?
No. Hourly rates are visible only to managers. Employees see their own punches and schedule.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It stays put. You can re-subscribe later and pick up exactly where you left off. If you want a full data export or want us to delete everything, just email support and we'll handle it within 72 hours.
