Delete your Clox account

You can delete your Clox account and personal data at any time. How you do it depends on whether you own the account or were invited to it by your employer.

If you own the account

If you signed up for Clox and created your company, open the web app at app.getclox.com and go to Settings, then Danger zone. From there you can delete your own account, or delete the whole organization. Deleting the organization removes all company data and cancels your subscription.

If your employer invited you

If a manager added you to their company, open the Clox mobile app, tap your name to open the account menu, and choose Delete my account. That removes your login and personal details. You can also ask your manager to remove you.

Your past time entries stay with your employer for payroll and are no longer tied to you. Employers are generally required by law to keep time and pay records for a set period, so those records are retained by your employer, who controls them, rather than deleted along with your account.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email support@getclox.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account.” We verify the request and complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes your name, email address, login credentials, and personal profile details from Clox. Time records that your employer is required to keep for payroll and legal retention are kept by your employer and are no longer linked to your identity.
