Clox
Foreman quick reference
One-page cheat sheet for crew foremen. Print it, post it in the trailer.
Every day
- Confirm every crew member clocked in by 7:30am — anyone missing, text them.
- If a crew member punched from outside the worksite geo-fence, it'll show a yellow flag — talk to them at lunch.
- If someone needs to switch projects mid-day, they tap Switch project in the app — no clock-out needed.
- Lunch: crews tap Lunch when stopping, Resume when returning.
- End of day: confirm every crew member clocked out before they leave.
Every week (Friday)
- Review the Team page — every crew should have ~40 hours or your expected number.
- Anyone with an open shift past 8pm? Use the timesheet edit to set their correct end time.
- Any time-correction requests in your inbox? Approve or reject before payroll runs.
- Geo-fence flags from the week: pattern of one person flagged repeatedly → conversation needed.
If something goes wrong
- Crew can't clock in: usually GPS permission. Open Settings → Location, allow for Clox.
- App not loading: check phone signal. Clox works offline — punches queue and sync when reconnected.
- Wrong project on a shift: edit the shift from the Timesheet page, change project, save.
- Forgot to clock out yesterday: Timesheet shows a yellow banner with a Set clock-out button — use it.
